I love stuff like this because it makes the internet feel less algorithmic and more like a bunch of monkeys monkeying around.

I agree. I miss when the internet was fun and I enjoy making content that is just goofy for the sake of being goofy so others can have little moments of joy too.

It feels like the opposite to me, it’s just slapping topical words on known meme templates with no creativity in it and I’m sure genAI would be capable of making this stuff with some tinkering…

… unless they’re already doing it.

They’re not. AI doesn’t have an inherent sense of humor so it would be nonsensical words on memes that kinda look like known memes.

Yes, and so am I, and we just need to wait it out until the next indecipherable meme trend starts and hopefully we can catch it’s origins so we know wtf is going on, but probably not and it’ll just be the same thing with different words.

Thanks king. Turns out I actually had seen most of those, but the soap came out of nowhere and I thought I’d missed some buildup to that

After a thorough reading, I’m confused as to how we settled on the misspelling “tiddies”. The singular form is “tit”, the shortened form is “tits”, the original meme uses the correct form, “titties”.

          How have we gone astray?

As the person who accidentally started that I can explain actually!

In the comments of the original meme that I parodied someone commented using the word “tiddies” and since that was the most recent comment I’d read prior to making my parody I had mismatched them in my head and thought that was how the original spelling was.

I later went back to check and it turns out I was entirely 100% incorrect lmfao but also my parody memes were wrong in a few aspects including the fact that the original said “legs open and a tittie popped out” and my first parody said “pants off” with no mention of tits at all.

Tldr: my memory is bad and it turned into a whole thing because lemmy is lemmy

A witch’s curse would turn the guy in the foreground into a delicate mandolin whilst the same curse would turn the foot pervert in the background into a handsome yet sinister cello

You don’t hate Paul Dano, you hate his character, and that’s because he did such a great job. If you don’t think Paul Dano can act, then you’re not familiar with his other films. Go watch a few others, then come back to TWBB. You’ll see why so many people like him.

The only part I didn’t like in There Will Be Blood was Paul Dano playing two brothers, but setting it up so you can’t say that the main character isn’t pretending to be the brother that doesn’t exist. Like, they should’ve been more explicit about there being two brothers. That make me question the entire relationship between him and Daniel Day Lewis’ character.
