It’s not just not-easy. It’s not financially or logistically feasible for most of us. And then what would we hope to accomplish without resorting to armed violence? I’d rather lay down and die than take another person’s life, no matter what they did to earn it. You say I did absolutely nothing, but only because I didn’t start shooting people. What I did was resolve to not let these nazis change me and my morals, to continue fighting ideologically, making the world better through my actions, and refusing to accept any justification for taking up the enemy’s toxic weapons.
Oh, it’s not easy? You think those people in the 19th century were rich? How come you go from passively subjecting to shooting people in one go? There are plenty of ways to protest. Just look at all the protests that have happend in Europe. Plenty of that would work in the US too.
There’s your mistake. It’s naysayers saying people like me aren’t doing anything. It’s they who have to explain what more they expect from me that doesn’t include violence.
