Any human would be like this if they’re living with someone who is a layabout. Memes like this are always telling about the character of the poster in that they are lazy and immature. Male or female, life requires upkeep and no one should have to tell anyone else what errands/chores have to be done. Sounds like you have a good partnership because there is no imbalance in labor. Over time that breeds resentment.

Uh no, I’m married now for well over a decade and these memes are still just lazy boomer “wife bad” memes. Is it perfect 24/7? Of course not, but I also wouldn’t say my day was ever ruined by her either.
Gotta be honest. Been with my partner over 10 yrs. This meme didn’t say anything about “wife ruining the day.” It was simply a joke about when you have a moment the partner can sometimes sense that.
Like this meme has never happened to you? You were never just chilling and the wife/partner comes in with something to do?
I’d be more inclined to see this as boomer shit if it followed up with Kermit putting a gun in his mouth to escape his wife.
Why get married to someone you don’t like
It’s possible and common to be happily married and in a healthy relationship with someone you love deeply and who also gets on your nerves sometimes for very specific, but also very human behavior.
Loving someone means loving all of that person, flaws included. We accept the little annoyances because overall, that person adds more to your life than they take away. Acknowledging this fact of human relationships is one way to embrace those flaws, and thus, that person.
