It actually was forbidding men raping other men as a show of dominance, basically it was denoting it as a type of war crime, it’s only modern translation and only very recent translation that’s decided suddenly it’s about gay men, which it never was. it’s unclear if anyone even accepted the concept of gay men in those days, but they did have 6-9 genders, so perhaps to them a gay man fit a category they didn’t bother condemning. it certainly wasn’t important enough for Jesus to bring it up. an he mentions 5 genders and doesn’t say any of them are sinful.
