1·1 day agoYou could always hire people to be your shipping agents and you could have your stuff sent from China to an EU country and then here. Pay the cheap china prices, pay the vat shipping from the EU country and then have it shipped to the US .
Then you pay off your people overseas every month like a subscription service fee.

the router don’t have feelings. the router is literally the biggest waste of money and I wish I had put in the effort to find a router that doesn’t FUCKIN SUCK!!! I do everything they say to make this fucker better too. Put it up on a shelf, put it at least two rooms away from the microwave, unplug it every two weeks for 20 mins to cool it off, don’t use bluetooth directly within 12 ft of it. It’s one of the models made within the past decade, it’s supposed to be good it just fuckin sucks. You know what gimmie a second !!!
I just busted out my goddamn tape measure!!! I am sitting two rooms away in my kitchen, 24 fucking feet not even 50 feet away from this piece of fuckin shit and I’m getting 550 mbps out of the 750mbps my wifi is supposed to pick up.
I go one more room away, to the bathroom, which is nearing 39 feet away from the piece of fuckin’ shit, the internet disconnects while I shit.

They also have 3.5mm female clip on bluetooth adapters but they suck if the clip breaks.
The information will still be there as long as they don’t remove entire posts by users who have deleted their user names and keep an archive going.
Someone should be making a reddit archive site. Like an exact read-only clone to retain all the information people have access to before they remove it all to accommodate Ai on their servers.

1·3 days agoalgorithms that have devolved into echo chambers and amazon recommendations. yeah and anyone who creates is a third space is usually labelled an evil person or a conspiracy theorist and put on an FBI watch list. now they have, “an aging problem,” at concerts, clubs and events because no one can afford them except for those in their late 40’s early 60’s, 2012 was the last affordable year for any of those things(, that’s conservative it’s more like 2014.) you’re never preaching to the choir because there’s a bunch of hive minds and if you’re not adhering to them, you’re the odd man out so having an opinion doesn’t even fucking matter anymore.
just like this, this doesn’t matter, right now what i am typing doesn’t mean jack shit but at least you can put it out there. you can put your opinion and your voice out there. I guess that matters more than anything

I’m not against them but like an 10 hour bullet train from Boston to San Francisco, HSR’s will never happen.
When I was messing around with my VPN, I was looking at translated news from Germany, France and Spain and they all have more or less different data usage policies. It’s interesting but at the same time, you can just go on a news website that a country mainly uses and translate it.
Interstingly though, when I used a VPN, it changes all the typical homepage shortcuts on Google chrome to what Germany, France and Spain uses for the main shortcuts.
But at that point would that 198$ coach one way train ticket be lowered to match the competitive airline prices? It’s cheap to fly that’s why there’s such a wait at the airport to fly that and depend on the size and type of plane you’re flying on they seat and board by class. Which factors into that added wait time; the cheaper, quicker and convenient it is to get somewhere, the more people will take it.
That 5 hours total is still better than 20 hours total one way.
It’s evaluating the heating properties of propane and showing the results of an ai model they put to work to evaluate the efficacy of propane primarily in heat pumps. The outcome was that the lubricants in oil tends clogs in propane heated oil based heat pumps that lack an oil separation unit and that work needs to be done to prevent that from happening in systems where refrigerants and oil are mixed/used in the same system.
The main reason i posted it was because it’s hard to find anything defending propane as efficient and a next generation refrigerant. It’s also hard to find any data that’s not google ai or an msds by some company. I also wanted to just point out the GWP of propane which is like 3. Though I just googled that and it says the updated data based on European data, it’s 0.02 over 100 years which is next to nothing compared to natural gas and wood burning.
