Unless you had an absolutely shit background or a learning disability, not understanding history or politics is a choice they made.

I’m not holding it against them that their brains might not have been developed or focused enough at that age to take in the information, but if you realize you are missing something critical later in life and don’t make moves to rectify it, that’s also a choice

We don’t need good intentions. We need strategies that work and a plan.

After watching nearly two straight years of this shit, I want to see results that fix some of these problems and stop the bleeding. I give less than a shit if we all kumbaya our way there together.

We can stop trying to convince vocal non-voters. They are 100% either trolls trying to eat productive time or completely irrational, pig headed imbeciles and attention whores, and lecturing at them - or otherwise engaging with them in any way - is a complete waste of time. Let them smug themselves in isolation.

We either save civilization going AROUND their obstructions, or it’s not savable.

It’s tempting to blame economic conditions, because they are objectively terrible, but really, it’s the rise of unchecked garbage media masquerading as news.

People have shown a consistent and maddening resistance to reacting and making decisions based on real conditions. The fact is, humans on the whole don’t look at reality to make decisions, and they never have. They build their worldviews on whoever tells them the best story.

The bad news is, this means you will NEVER beat the alt right just by fixing things in reality.

The problem is the workplaces don’t want that. if you’re happier and have more energy, it also makes you more uppity and harder to control. You might even find options for other work!

If it means keeping you tired and broken, that’s worth the cost of a little productivity.

Every pig-ignorant savior is so absolutely certain that their ideologically pure solution is the only acceptable way to fix anything that everyone is going to cancel each other out and it’s just going to continue sliding towards the cliff edge.

Under NO circumstances attempt to learn ANY lessons from parliamentary coalitions who banded together to stop the hijacking of their governments by radical fascists despite sweeping policy disagreements. Everyone keep nitpicking every minute detail, make no compromises whatsoever no matter the costs, and make stupid, pointless, self-destructive, aggrandizing gestures so you can talk down to strangers on the internet, and enjoy the ride to hell.

The fun part is if you actually do enough of these things, it effects the economy negatively, so they’ll find ways to force you to spend anyway.
