Give it time. “tracert” used to be “tray-cert” in my mind for the longest.
I’m saying ‘trace-ert’ inside my mind, simply because that 's way cooler that ‘trace route’ or whatever.

Depends on the OS for me. Tracert is the way you say it, trace route is the way I say traceroute.
