This really feels like Wired reached a conclusion before writing the article. The survey results aren’t amazing, but they’re a lot better than I’d have expected based on the article.
Obviously some very gross individual examples though.
The reading experience of this article on a PC is mildly infuriating. The font is fixed size, zooming out does nothing, arrow keys don’t scroll up or down. Everything is javascript, so Firefox’ reading mode shows zero actual text
I can’t even read it at all, probably too much blocked shit. Majority of the web just sucks ass nowadays.
It works poorly for me on mobile too!
Gender bias aside, I don’t think the male perspective is much better
no but, it’s important because these things are happening to poor women that don’t deserve to be treated like shit.
That’s actually a lot better than I was expecting.
