Oh, I know this one! They hold the camera with their chin against their neck. It’s awkward, but that lets them have both balls in view.
I don’t read DMs.

I don’t buy green olives or macadamia nuts anymore.
If I have a whole jar of green olives, I eat a whole jar of green olives, one after the other. Same for the nuts.

Hmm. I feel like one could mount a chair to one of these and have the mop sticking out of the ringer, handy for jousting purposes. Seems more comfy.

Writing fiction is so much fun.
When you start writing, you’re in control, but about 1/3 of the way through a longer story, the characters start taking over and leading the way, to the point that if you’re not careful, they’ll lead you astray from the story you want to write, and they’ll start writing their own story--which may or may not be a better story. If you’ve never experienced this, it’s surprising the first time it happens.
I drink instant because, well, it’s instant, and I can’t tell that one is better or worse than the other.
Coffee, cigars, chocolate, wine, cheese, etc. All these things people obsess over and judge; they all seem equal to me. Not better or worse, just different.
Honestly, I feel bad throwing them away. I have a collection of about 30 of them because I feel like I should be able to find a use for them, or at lease someone should. I stopped saving them.
That’s the joke.

I get it, but I haven’t lost all hope. Yet.

Oh, no!

According to Wikipedia, there are several ways to treat a Plantar wart, including liquid nirogen, and salicylic acid
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plantar_wart
I had warts on my hands 40 years ago. I’ll mention the duct tape method, because I think I have an idea of how it works, because it does work sometimes. The duct tape focuses our attention on the wart, and the body then focuses its immune system on the wart. It’s related to how placebos work, I believe, which is also not well understood. We tend to treat our bodies as stupid machines--just a big bag of chemicals we can push around with drugs and knives--when it comes to health, but our minds have control over our bodies, and we should learn more about how that works, it seems terribly under-studied.
Can’t have them wandering around unsupervised.

Necessity is the mother of invention.
Before long, they’ll be self-hosting chat apps. Or, figuring out eepsites. Or running Mastadon on Tor.

Went for my morning one-hour walk.
Made lunch.
Uh… yeah.
There are plenty of things I’d rather be doing. Can’t afford any of them.

The stone is but the tip of a buried house-size boulder, which you would be standing on, and therefore unable to lift no matter how strong.

Here’s what is interesting about these things. The concept was that no one would break the glass spuriously to get to the fire extinguisher unless there was a fire. BUT, anyone who wanted to use the fire extinguisher for some purpose other than an emergency would have no qualms about breaking the glass--it’s just one more social contract to break on the way to breaking a social contract.
Maybe that’s why they aren’t around anymore, they never really worked as intended. It’s just that so few people would find nefarious purpose for a fire extinguisher that it seemed to work, because the glass was rarely broken without need.

In case of broken glass, break glass. Since you’re cleaning up anyway.
*rolls eyes*
The car shadows are straight down, too.
The shadow you’re referring too could be foliage hanging out over the top of the wall, or trees behind the wall, but hanging over the wall.
Sometimes things really do happen outside in the real world.
This is Microsoft BOB
Here’s a good demo video without any talking or people mugging for the camera, just the interface: https://youtu.be/VrsIsf8PQJY
